A seat, or the queue

If it's a fit and the quarter has room, you get an email with a single-use checkout link for your seat. If the quarter is full, you stay in the queue for the next one.

Calls on a fortnightly cadence, code review on your pull requests, and the direct channel between them. It ends on a date. You can renew.
